128. Tales of a Gutsy Ninja ~Jiraiya Ninja Scroll~ Part 2
Due to the outbreak of the Third Great Ninja War, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru are sent on a mission in the Hidden Rain Village. After the battle, they are named the "Legendary Sannin" by Hanzo of the Great Salamander. While in the village, Jiraiya meets with Yahiko, Nagato and Konan who request help from him. Jiraiya accepts and proceeds to train them. After he teaches them how to use ninjutsu, he departs back for Konoha. Following, Jiraiya trains Minato Namikaze, who together with his wife, Kushina, name their unborn son "Naruto" after the main character in Jiraiya's novel.

Back in the times of the Second Hokage, the young Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade are assigned to Hiruzen Sarutobi’s platoon. Being fascinated by Sarutobi’s summoning jutsu, Jiraiya tries it him self,only to teleport himself to Mount Myoboku. There, Jiraiya trains under Fukusaku and meets the Great Lord Elder who has a vision of his future. When his training with Fukusaku had been completed, Jiraiya goes on a journey with the goal to fulfill his destiny. Before returning to Konoha, Jiraiya fights an unknown ninja, and manages to leave a scar on his forehead before the end of their battle.

465. Attack on the Summit
Sasuke gets away from Gaara and the Raikage. With the help of Karin he reaches the summit of the Kages. He is encountered by the chief of the Samurais. Meanwhile Danzo uses this diversion to escape. The guy with Byakugan chases after Danzo. Sasuke tries to do the same but is interrupted by the Mizukage. The chapter ends by both Sasuke and Mizukage gearing up for battle.

Jiraya arrives and tells Tsunade that he has information regarding Pain's location. In the meantime, Karin senses that they're being followed and asks Jugo to help her throw off their pursuers. As Hebi departs, Naruto encounters Itachi. After talking, Itachi departs, having more pressing matters to attend to. Meanwhile, Jiraiya and Tsunade discuss Naruto's parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, and the Foundation before Jiraiya departs for the Hidden Rain Village.

463. Sasuke Vs Raikage
Summary
The fight between Sasuke and Raikage continues. Sasuke goes to Mangekyou Sharingan mode and uses Amaterasu on Raikage but he dodges it and charges at Sasuke. Sasuke sheilds himself with Amaterasu and it seems like Raikage's left had has been caught by Amaterasu.
Meanwhile Madara says to Naruto that he will make Sasuke fight Naruto. When asked why he is collecting bijuus he replies to Kakashi that it is to become complete (whatever that means...!!).

125. Disappearance
Upon noticing the blast, Suigetsu summons Manda and finds out that Sasuke had used him to escape. Unable to survive, Manda dies from his wounds and Zetsu informs the remaining Akatsuki members of Deidara's death. Naruto and the others get to the crater, and using Kiba's tracking skills they begin to track down Sasuke's scent. Elsewhere, the Akatsuki leader, Pain and his partner, Konan, are then ordered to capture the Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki by a mysterious man, Tobi, his real identity being Madara Uchiha.

Summary
Sasuke charges at Raikage and get pushed back by Raikage’s guards. Juugo and Suigetsu joins in the fight and backs up Sasuke. Karin on the other hand is being searched for and tries to hide her chakara to hide herself.
Juugo transforms into second stage curse form to fight against the Raikage guards.
Scene with kages, Denzo is being watched very carefully. After some talk Denzo admits that he did try to manipulate the meeting to his advantage. Overall everyone is now against Denzo’s view. We also find out that there might be a possibility that last mizukage was manipulated by Denzou.

As Deidara's C4 Karura detonates, Sasuke perishes. Believing to have won, Deidara drops his guard, only to be pierced by Sasuke's Chidori. After being asked how he had survived, Sasuke reveals that he was never harmed and that Deidara was under his genjutsu. Deidara tries to kill Sasuke, but is misled by his Sharingan again. Both combatants collapse and Sasuke deactivates his Sharingan. Angered at being mocked, Deidara unveils his final attack, turning himself into a living bomb and detonating himself in an attempt to kill Sasuke.

Sasuke asks where Itachi is and slices through Tobi, as Deidara retreats to a distance. Tobi gets back up unharmed as Deidara retaliates with his chakra-level 1 (C1) explosives. Sasuke escapes with a simple replacement jutsu forcing Deidara to use one of his C2 creations, the C2 Dragon. Working with Tobi, they forced Sasuke to use the Curse Mark. In the end, Sasuke defeats their combos, and Deidara is left with no choice but to use his trump card that was meant for Itachi, the C4 Karura.

Elsewhere, Sasuke is confronted by Tobi and Deidara and prepares for a battle with them.

After capturing the Four-Tailed Jinchūriki, Itachi and Kisame are summoned by their leader and told about Orochimaru's death. They are then warned about Sasuke's movements and that he may be coming after Itachi. Later, after sealing the Three-Tailed and Four-Tailed Beasts, Deidara and Tobi set out targeting either Naruto, Kakashi, or Sasuke. Meanwhile, Hebi gathers supplies at an abandoned Uchiha warehouse and Kakashi assembles Team Kurenai, led by himself, to set out with Team Kakashi, led by Yamato, to capture Itachi.
