467. The Moon's Eye Plan
Sakura, Kiba, Lee and Sa i is shown leaving for finding Naruto. Naruto is shown to be pondering over all the things Madara said to him about Sasuke and he finally decide to confront Sasuke face to face. Meanwhile Madara uses a space-time jutsu to suck in Karen and Sasuke and asks Karen to heal Sasuke. After that he starts talking to the Kages about the Moon's Eye Plan. He says that once all the nine Bijuu's fused. It was the Jyuubi, the ten tails. He says that the Rikuudou Sennin was the Jinchuuriki of the jyuubi. The sennin saved the world from Jyuubi by sealing it within himself and in his deathbed, he split the Jyuubi into 9 bijuus, thus scattering its chakra. And he sealed the body of the Jyuubi and blasted away into the sky creating the moon.Madara says that he is collecting Bijuus so that he can restore the Jyuubi and become the jinchuuriki himself. He believes that by doing so, he'll be able to magnify his eye's power to the ultimate level thereby enabling him to develop a new genjutsu with which he'll be able control all of humanity by reflecting his eyes from the moon!

130. The Man Who Became God
Jiraiya faces off Konan while Pain is on his way. When Pain arrives, they discuss Pain's personal ideology and Akatsuki's goals. Pain, who is convinced Jiraiya is to die anyway, reveals the collection of the Tailed Beasts was in order to create a destruction jutsu which could wipe away entire nations, so that the world would "mature" and develop aversion for war. Finishing their talk, Pain summons a crustacean to attack Jiraiya, who defeats it and calls upon a giant frog in opening of their battle.

129. Infiltrate! The Village Hidden in the Rain
Jiraiya succesfully infiltrates a village in the Country of Rain, where he wanders around and speaks to inhabitants about their leader, Pain. Unsuccesful in gathering information he captures two ninja of the city in a frog's stomach, who tell him the mysterious Pain has defeated the former leader of Rain, Hanzo. Meanwhile Pain orders Konan to search for the intruder for which she transforms in origami papers.

466. Battle Behind Closed Doors
Mizukage traps Sasuke in a closed room and Sasuke is shown to be too weak to fight after continual use of Susanoo. Meanwhile Zetsu uses some jutsu to steal chakra from everyone present at the summit and passes it on to Sasuke. After his chakra getting replenished, Sasuke breaks out of the trap room using Susanoo. But Tshuchikage attacks Sasuke and it seems that the blow connected. Karin thinks Sasuke is dead and is horrified. In the last page Madara appears holding Sasuke in hid hands and says to the 4 Kages present that he wants to talk about his 'Moons Eye Plan'.

Naruto Shippuden 128
128. Tales of a Gutsy Ninja ~Jiraiya Ninja Scroll~ Part 2
Due to the outbreak of the Third Great Ninja War, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru are sent on a mission in the Hidden Rain Village. After the battle, they are named the "Legendary Sannin" by Hanzo of the Great Salamander. While in the village, Jiraiya meets with Yahiko, Nagato and Konan who request help from him. Jiraiya accepts and proceeds to train them. After he teaches them how to use ninjutsu, he departs back for Konoha. Following, Jiraiya trains Minato Namikaze, who together with his wife, Kushina, name their unborn son "Naruto" after the main character in Jiraiya's novel.

Being fascinated by Sarutobi’s summoning jutsu, Jiraiya tries it him self,only to teleport himself to Mount Myoboku. There, Jiraiya trains under Fukusaku and meets the Great Lord Elder who has a vision of his future. When his training with Fukusaku had been completed, Jiraiya goes on a journey with the goal to fulfill his destiny. Before returning to Konoha, Jiraiya fights an unknown ninja, and manages to leave a scar on his forehead before the end of their battle.

Sasuke gets away from Gaara and the Raikage. With the help of Karin he reaches the summit of the Kages. He is encountered by the chief of the Samurais. Meanwhile Danzo uses this diversion to escape. The guy with Byakugan chases after Danzo. Sasuke tries to do the same but is interrupted by the Mizukage. The chapter ends by both Sasuke and Mizukage gearing up for battle.
